You might live too close to your neighbor when...

So we do not live in one of those newer subdivisions where the houses are literally like 5 ft. apart but the walls in these old houses are quite thin. Don't get me wrong, I like living in town and being close to everything but sometimes I just want to move to the middle of like 50 acres. I don't think I could survive in an apartment!

So, you might live too close to your neighbor when... (all of these are true)

1. Your cordless phone picks up your neighbor's conversation.

2. There is a small part of you that doesn't look forward to Spring because that means that your next door neighbor will start taking his boat out EVERY Sat. and Sun. morning at approximately 5 AM!!! You wake to the sounds of, "Hey, did you get those lures packed yet?! I hope the fish are biting today!"

3. Last night I thought that Gracie was making the strangest noises at about 4 AM. I laugh and elbow husby and tell him to listen. He sits up to look out the cracked bedroom window to see cats getting into the neighbor's trash. He makes more strange sounds to get them to stop at which I am thinking, "Who cares about the neighbor's trash?!"

4. I walk over to neighbor B's house the other day to talk to her and I ask her if she knows anything about the foreclosed house next to her. She says no, but neighbor A says that it is going to list for $___ but she doesn't know how she knows that. I say, well it's probably because she knows EVERYTHING that goes on in this neighborhood. To which neighbor B agrees and says, "I know, I had just gotten home the other day and my phone rings and it was neighbor A. I told her I had just walked in the door and she says I know, I saw you pull in, are you parking your car in the garage now because it's hard for me to tell if you are home or not now?" Some people need a hobby...
